LEAVE MANAGEMENT & E-LEAVE SYSTEM
Make time off easier to ask for and easier to review.
A leave management system replaces the uncertainty around a request with a clear sequence: check the balance, choose the dates, send the context for review and follow the outcome. An e-leave or eleave system is the same everyday idea—handling the process online rather than through paper forms or scattered messages.
YavaHR’s leave experience is being designed around the employee and the reviewer together. An employee needs a balance they can understand. A manager needs enough context to make a decision and see the effect on the team. The interactive example shows a sample request, not a live company leave account.
01
Start with a balance
Before someone makes plans, they should understand the leave available to them. Agree your leave types and policy rules first, including how adjustments are reviewed and explained.
02
Make the request complete
Dates, leave type and supporting context should reach the right reviewer together. Clear inputs reduce the messages needed to find out what an employee intended to request.
03
Keep the team informed
Once a decision is made, the employee needs a clear outcome and the team needs an appropriate view of availability. Decide what colleagues should see without exposing unnecessary personal details.
BEFORE YOU SET UP
A little preparation. A clearer starting point.
Write down your policies
List leave types, entitlement rules, notice expectations and the information required for a request. Review them before configuration.
Choose the approval route
Identify the normal reviewer and how the team handles absence, escalation or a request that needs correcting.
Agree how changes work
Decide how cancellations, approved-date changes and balance adjustments should be recorded and communicated.
A few practical questions.
What should we prepare before setting up leave?+
Review your leave types, opening balances, approval responsibilities and how corrections are handled. The free tracker can help organise a starting point.
Does the demo calculate our leave entitlement?+
The tour uses a sample balance. Your actual entitlement depends on the applicable rules, working arrangements and company policy.
Can we start by exploring leave management?+
Yes. Try the sample request and tell us about your current process, team size and approval requirements.
