FREE LEAVE TRACKER TEMPLATE
The workbook brings entered employee balances and leave requests into one manual process. You enter the allocation or entitlement and any adjustment, then record request dates, checked days and a status. Formulas total approved requests and calculate what remains.
You stay in control of the policy figures and the request duration. The workbook does not calculate statutory leave entitlement, public holidays or working days between dates. Keep one controlled master file and agree who can change it.

Confirm that approved requests are included and pending requests stay separate. Investigate any negative balance before relying on it.
Yes. The main file is an Excel-compatible .xlsx workbook with balance formulas. A separate CSV request log is available if you only need a simple table; the CSV does not include those formulas.
Enter the checked duration as a decimal, such as 0.5 for a half day, following your policy. The workbook totals the numbers entered; it does not decide which days are working days or eligible leave.
The workbook records the outcome of your manual process. It does not provide employee accounts, access controls, notifications or enforced approvals.
